The NFC Emergency Contact Backpack Tag is a personalized and 3D printed design for kids and adults to provide quick access to emergency contact information via NFC technology. The tag is attached to backpacks, lunch boxes, or diaper bags, ensuring safety and peace of mind for parents, caregivers, and individuals. It’s durable, customizable, and compatible with NFC-enabled smartphones (iPhone XR or later, most Android devices, iPhone 14 and higher is recommended for sensitivity, please see the listing video for where iPhones are sensitive). The product is not a toy and requires buyers to verify phone compatibility. We make no guarantees and it is best to point it out to anyone responsible so that they know it's there and it can test it on their phones. This tag does not replace any other steps that should be taken to provide emergency contact information and should be considered a backup option at best.

Some phones may require the tag to be placed on top of the phone or. behind the phone. All phone handle nfc chips a little different. It may take multiple taps and a few different angles.

Please include the desired phone number, including the area code, after the name in personalization. Orders that fail to include a phone number may be cancelled.

Some fonts are missing from the dropdown due to the list size limits. These fonts can be requested with a note in the personalization field after the phone number.

That’s not paint or vinyl, it’s colored plastic, so it won’t easily wear off like paint or vinyl.

Names are limited to 10 characters, but message us if you think it might fit before ordering. At about 7 characters we have to shorten the height of the letters to make them readable. Not all our fonts are great in lowercase or have lower letter number restrictions, see our chart for details. We will use exactly what you type, unless the chart says otherwise.

We ship out every weekday, and sometimes on weekends too, but please allow us time to personalize each design, gather the right colors and print. If you are in a hurry, you can upgrade shipping or put a rush on it to move ahead in line.

Most items ship in 1-3 days. Due to order volume, we occasionally need more time.

We strongly recommend that customers test the tag with their own phone and any phone belonging to individuals responsible for supervising their child to ensure compatibility and functionality.
