About Name Plate for Owala Freesip Sway - 30 oz, 18oz, and 40 oz Versions.
Will this fit my Owala?
Only if it is an Owala FreeSip Sway with the bucket-style top handle and the Unlock–Lock slider on the lid (see the top-down photos). It does not fit FreeSip bottles that only have a spout loop, FreeSip Twist, or other brands. Match your bottle to the handle shape in the photos before ordering.
I have an 18 oz, 30 oz, and 40 oz Sway — can one plate fit all three?
No. Each plate is printed for one size. Choose your size in the Font # / size options (for example “30 oz Font 1” or “18 oz Blank Plate”). Ordering the wrong size is the #1 reason a plate won’t sit right.
How is this different from your Owala FreeSip name ring / keychain listings?
Those sit on the spout area of FreeSip bottles. This listing is only for the Sway’s arched top bucket handle — a hard, dual-color 3D-printed PLA plate that rides on the handle so the name faces out when you carry it. It is not a silicone sleeve, vinyl sticker, or spout ring. Bottle not included.
What do I actually receive?
One personalized (or blank) name plate in the background and letter colors you pick. The bottle, lid, and charms are not included. Letters are solid colored plastic through-and-through — not a sticker — so they won’t peel like vinyl.
How do I install it without scratching the handle?
Watch the listing video first — the safest method is shown there. You can also slide it on at the narrow part of the handle, but forcing it the wrong way can scuff plastic-on-plastic or warp the plate. Once on, it wants to stay put; you can still push it off with firm, careful pressure. Slight looseness is intentional so more handles fit. If you want a tighter hold, message us about the optional grip plate for the underside of the handle before you order.
How do I pick colors and fonts?
Use the color swatch photos (Background / Font Color) and the font charts in the gallery. Preview combos at https://pics.ososharable.com/osotemplate. We cannot guarantee a perfect match to your bottle color — we prioritize durable PLA. Popular “plays nice with anything” picks: black/white, gunmetal/white, or white with a bold letter color. Fonts 2 and 12 need extra design steps and add a small fee.
How long can the name be? What if I leave the name blank?
Aim for about 10 characters. Around 7+ characters, letter height is reduced so the name still fits the plate (see the Fonts Page 2 photo). Some fonts are uppercase-only, lowercase-only, or short-limit (Font 9 is about 4 letters). We letter exactly what you type unless that font’s chart says otherwise. No name? Choose a blank-plate size option for a single-color blank plate in the background color.
How do people actually use these?
School, daycare, and sports — tell identical Sway bottles apart in a bag pile or cafeteria.
Family kitchen counters — parents and kids each get a color and name so lids stop migrating.
Gym, trail, and commute — the name faces out on the carry handle while you walk.
Camps, teams, bridal parties, and classrooms — bulk runs of the same size with different names (message us for bulk).
Gifting — plate only, so it ships as an add-on to a Sway they already own.
Blank color accent — some buyers order blank plates just as a color flash on the handle, no text.
Is it dishwasher safe? What material is it?
Hand wash only. Made from eco-friendly PLA (biodegradable under the right conditions), dual-extruded so background and letters are solid color plastic. Entirely made by our family shop in Texas. Not for boiling water, dishwashers, or leaving in a hot car.
Can I get a mockup, and how fast do you ship?
We don’t offer free one-off mockups; use the osotemplate link and the font/color photos. Orders of 10+ — message us and we can share examples. Personalized and printed after you order; most ship in about 1–3 weekdays (volume can stretch that). Need it sooner? Ask about rush so we can move you up the queue.

This only fits the Owala Freesip Sway with the sliding lock behind the lid and bucket top handle as shown in photos! There are two sizes, be careful to pick the right size.
WATCH the listing video for the BEST install method. Other methods work but could damage the name plate if not done delicately.
Orders submitted without names will be 1 color, the background color and blank.
We personalize and 3D print a beautiful nameplate that slides into the bucket handle of the 18oz, 30oz or 40oz FreeSip Sway but only fits one or the other, not both. Please select the one that matches your size. Must have the bucket handle as shown.
Watch the video to see how it's installed and removed. It can also be slid on and off at the narrow part of the handle.
Once on, it doesn’t want to come off, but you can still push it off with a little force if needed.

Visible examples of the fonts are in the photos, please look at all the photos for examples before ordering.
We keep adding colors as we test them for durability, and we’re looking for suggestions! We have 14 different fonts to pick from but feel free to message us about other possibilities. We cannot guarantee a color match with any tumbler. We have to choose durable plastics over perfect color matches. Many customers choose black/white, gunmetal/white, or white/color to help with coordinating without clashing with specific colors.
That’s not paint or vinyl, it’s colored plastic, so it won’t easily wear off like paint or vinyl.
Names are limited to 10 characters, but message us if you think it might fit before ordering. At about 7 characters we have to shorten the height of the letters to make them readable. Not all our fonts are great in lowercase or have lower letter number restrictions, see our chart for details. We will use exactly what you type, unless the chart says otherwise.
We ship out every weekday, and sometimes on weekends too, but please allow us time to personalize each design, gather the right colors and print. If you are in a hurry, you can upgrade shipping or put a rush on it to move ahead in line.
Most items ship in 1-3 days. Due to order volume, we occasionally need more time.

Fonts 2 & 12, These fonts require extra steps for us to get most names right, we had to add $1 to $2 to cover the extra design costs.

Please follow our instructions. There are slight variances in tumbler handles. We have designed this product to fit many. If not installed properly and used properly then the plastic of the handle can be scuffed. This is the nature of plastic on plastic. We are not responsible for the misuse of this product.
Due to slight variances that are out of our control, the name plate may slide on the tumbler handle. We have to make it slightly loose to guarantee a fit and easy installation for everyone. While many customers have been perfectly happy with the current plate, if you are concerned about it sliding or being too loose, please message us before ordering. We have an optional grip plate that installs on the bottom side of the handle.
These name plates are made with eco friendly PLA biodegradable plastic. They are hand wash only. They are entirely made in Texas by the Oso Amazing Family.
